When coming home from Graz today, a nice present expected me in my post-box: my first contract with a major edition. ‘Universal Edition’ will publish my ‘Tschaikowsky – Kinderalbum’ orchestrations for string ensemble next year. I’m looking very much forward to that. Thank you very much to my orchestration teacher Victor Kissine – one of […]
I spent another 3 great days at Brussels with the ‘Tivoli Band‘, the horse, lots of great classical music (Ravel, John Adams, Beethoven) and bumping into some lovely friends when just walking around in this amazing city.
At the moment Roald Baudoux and me (Dark Fader) are rehearsing with live visual artist Sigrid Tanghe for a concert in october during the ‘Brussels Electronic Marathon’. We are ‘artists in residence’ at an extremly nice place in Belgium, called ‘Rosario‘ – an old monastery in the countryside in the middle of nowhere. Have a […]
We all had a really great time at ‘ La Biennale die Venezia’. Perfectly organized by the women of ‘Schauspiel Leipzig’, great weather, fantastic atmosphere, cool performance, super team. More of that please…..
I’m happy to finally go back to Belgium for a couple of days at the end of August. Finally coming home after 8 weeks on the road. I met some very nice people, Japan was a great experience and the theatre production in Basel went well. Time for new challenges. I’ll start working for the ‘Eutiner Festspiele’ next week, composing 3 songs, based on motives of ‘Freischütz’. A lot of work……..
Back from Japan. I never experienced such a hospitality and such a strong feeling for ‘family’. And I saw/experienced the ‘Sakura’ and so many other things for the first time. A big ‘Thank You’ to my old friend Hans and his new family.
