I accepted to be the musical director and composer for 2 new theatre productions in 2016 with my usual stage director Claudia Bauer. One will be ‘Menschenfeind’ by Molière in Basel (premiere 14.4.2016) and the other ’89/90′ by Peter Richter for the opening of the season in Leipzig (premiere 17.9.2016).

I got a request to write a 20-25 minutes concerto for classical orchestra plus solo trumpet and solo trombone. That’s a big challenge which I accepted with great pleasure. Deadline should be end of March 2016.

I’m preparing my next CD that will also be the very first CD on my new label ‘Peer’s Playground’. So I’m recording soundscapes with the piano and then I let Nora, Dierck, Christian and Rosey improvise over it.
